Cymru Comps – Competition Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before entering any competition operated by Cymru Comps (“we”, “us”, “our”). By purchasing an entry and participating in our competitions, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility
1.1. Competitions are open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or older.
1.2. By entering a competition, you confirm that you meet the eligibility requirements.
1.3. Employees of Cymru Comps, their immediate family members, or anyone professionally connected with the competition are not permitted to enter.

2. How to Enter
2.1. To enter, you must purchase a ticket through our website: [www.cymrucomps.co.uk].
2.2. During the entry process, you will be required to answer a multiple-choice question. This is a skill-based requirement necessary for legal compliance under the Gambling Act 2005. Only those who answer correctly will be entered into the final draw.
2.3. Upon successful entry, you will be allocated a unique ticket number.
2.4. Entries must be submitted before the competition’s stated closing date and time. Entries received after this time will not be eligible.
2.5. Free route to competition entry.
- Choose what competition you want to register for
- Send your entry on a postcard by first class post to Cymru Comps, 33, Bwlch Road, Fairwater, Cardiff CF5 3BX for free entry route.
- Make sure to include: your full name, address, contact number, email address, your chosen competition and the answer to the multiple choice question for that competition.
- Only one free postal entry per household per competition.
- any bulk entries or multiple from same address will be void and only counted as one entry.

3. Ticket Pricing and Refunds
3.1. The cost per entry (ticket) is clearly displayed on each individual competition page.
3.2. All entry fees are non-refundable once submitted, except where a competition is cancelled or voided by Cymru Comps.

4. Winner Selection
4.1. The winner will be selected at random using a secure random number generator from the pool of correct entries.
4.2. The draw will take place on or shortly after the advertised closing date, and may be live-streamed or recorded for transparency.
4.3. The winner will be contacted via the contact details provided during entry. If the winner cannot be contacted or fails to claim the prize within 14 days, we reserve the right to redraw or offer the prize to an alternative entrant.

5. Prizes
5.1. The prize(s) offered are clearly described on each competition page.
5.2. All prizes are subject to availability and may not be transferred, exchanged, or redeemed for cash unless a cash alternative has been offered. (this will be clearly stated on the competition page.
5.3. Cymru Comps reserves the right to substitute any prize with one of equal or greater value if the original prize becomes unavailable.

6. Disqualification
6.1. Cymru Comps reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who:
• Provides false information
• Fails to answer the question correctly
• Uses automated systems to enter
• Breaches these Terms in any way
6.2. No responsibility is accepted for lost, delayed, or incomplete entries due to technical issues or other unforeseen circumstances.

7. Publicity and Winner Details
7.1. By entering, you agree that if you win, Cymru Comps may use your first name, town/county, and any submitted media (e.g. photographs) for promotional purposes, including social media, unless you specifically request otherwise.
7.2. Winner names and prize details may be published on our website and/or social media platforms.

8. Limitation of Liability
8.1. Cymru Comps will not be liable for:
• Any loss or damage arising from participation in the competition
• Failure or delay in delivering the prize due to circumstances beyond our control
8.2. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud or death/personal injury caused by negligence.
